I'm Rebecka Sexton. I've spent over two decades making healthcare work better for the people inside it.

PeopleLabs is a strategic foresight and service design consultancy founded on a simple belief: better healthcare starts with actually listening to the people inside it.

I've done this work on every side of healthcare — payer, provider, patient, and community. That full-system perspective is rare, and it's what makes the difference between solutions that look good on paper and ones that actually hold up in the real world.

My approach combines strategic foresight, service design, and deep human-centered research. I don't just study what's broken today — I help organizations understand what's coming and design for it before it arrives.

The organizations I've worked with include: Roanoke Memorial Hospital · OSF Healthcare · United HealthCare · Optum · Health Care Service Corporation · Chicago Hispanic Health Coalition · MacArthur Foundation

I'm also a speaker and futurist. Most recently I presented at Dignified Futures, a conference dedicated to designing more dignified health futures — work that sits at the heart of everything PeopleLabs does.

I believe dignity isn't a nice-to-have in healthcare. It's a design requirement.

If that resonates with you, I'd love to talk.
